The outcome could have been better

Well, it was a beautiful day in Tiger Stadium...too bad we couldn't pull out a win. Oh how badly did I want us to beat Nick Saban! But, such is life and we had a great day, so it wasn't all a loss.

We got out to our tailgate at 9:30 and started well, tailgating. Eating, drinking, talking trash. Tailgating 101. It really was a beautiful day. No clouds in the sky, a nice breeze - just a great day to be alive and outside.

We watched the Tigers walk down the hill to the stadium, but missed seeing the band come down. We ran into old friends and new ones. Then it was game time. We cheered our Tigers on and maybe, just maybe cursed Nick Saban once or twice. Hey, I am just being honest.

It was a good game. Hard fought on both sides. And while the outcome was not what I had hoped for, it was still a great day. There is always next year Tigers when we can beat them on their own turf!

I blame Wade for my mouth being open! I don't do well with pictures w/o a count! lol! Also, how is it possible that I look SHORT! That never happens to me! You'll have to send me one of those pictures - I'll work on photoshopping Bridget's horrible red shirt out of the shot! ;-)
